obspy.io.shapefile.core._add_catalog_layer

_add_catalog_layer(writer, catalog, extra_fields=None)[source]
Parameters:
  • writer (shapefile.Writer.) pyshp Writer object
  • catalog (Catalog) Event data to add as a new layer.
  • extra_fields (list) List of extra fields to write to the shapefile table. For details see _write_shapefile().
