obspy.io.seisan.core._read_seisan

_read_seisan(filename, headonly=False, **kwargs)[source]

Reads a SEISAN file and returns an ObsPy Stream object.

Warning

This function should NOT be called directly, it registers via the ObsPy read() function, call this instead.

Parameters:filename (str) SEISAN file to be read.
Return type:Stream
Returns:A ObsPy Stream object.

Example

>>> from obspy import read
>>> st = read("/path/to/2001-01-13-1742-24S.KONO__004")
>>> st  
<obspy.core.stream.Stream object at 0x...>
