obspy.core.stream.Stream.attach_response
- Stream.attach_response(inventories)[source]
Search for and attach channel response to each trace as trace.stats.response. Does not raise an exception but shows a warning if response information can not be found for all traces. Returns a list of traces for which no response could be found. To subsequently deconvolve the instrument response use
Stream.remove_response()
.Note
It is recommended to rather just provide the metadata information directly whenever needed so that the lookup of appropriate response is done right at the time when it is used, e.g.
stream.remove_response(inventory=inv, ...)
